Our Old Store
In 1921 Ruth Tharpe Hunt Began To Sell The Confections That Her Friends And Family Had Always Loved. Because Of Her Success Locally She Opened A Small Candy Store In Her Home. Soon Her Business Outgrew This Location And In 1930 Was Moved To Its Own Perman
Our New Store
In 2001 We Moved Into A More Conveniently Located And Larger Facility. We Are Now Comfortably Settled Into Our New Factory. Because We Are So Proud Of This New Home We Invite All Of Our Customers To Visit Us And Tour Our Surroundings At 550 N. Maysville R

Pouring Cream Candy
Still made the old fashioned way, cooked in our copper kettles, poured on a cold table, and pulled to perfection. A genuine Kentucky tradition enjoyed by generations of Ruth Hunt customers.
Pulling Cream Candy
The batches of cream candy are pulled no longer by hand as demand increased. The old candy hooks that lined the basement in the old factory have since be retired.
